R&E 1957 was founded by a hard working couple. During the financial downturn 20 years ago, they started selling low cost watches on the streets in order to support living expenses. They faced countless of obstacles, they failed, but they come back stronger.

Today while owning outlets in malls across states in Malaysia, they haven’t forgotten their dream, a dream they share – to create a timepiece brand of their own. With the enthusiasm in timepiece, they don’t miss out any international watch convention, to explore for their desired design – Retro & Elegant, yet fashionable. R&E 1957 was named after the couple – Ronnie & Erica. 1957 is a memorable year – the year of Malaysia’s independence, the year Ronnie was born. In their vision, R&E 1957 Swiss is made affordable, accessible, and adequate across all age groups. Ronnie and Erica’s industrious spirit – Resilient & Enthusiastic, resembles the entire nation fighting for independence in 1957.
